Serger Savvy 1
*Must bring your own serger and tools for threading along with extra needles--(just in case)
Is your serger sitting in its box, collecting dust, or intimidating you every time you look at it? Or are you just using it for seam finishes? It’s time to break it out and turn frustration into fun!
We will start with the basics of threading and cleaning the machine, and move along to learn a few different techniques.
This is a basic class where we learn all about the serger:Threading, cleaning, starting and ending seams, attaching elastic, etc. while creating a few small projects.
All fabric supplies will be included.
Each class participant must bring the following:
- Serger machine in working condition
- power cord & foot control
- Instruction manual
- Tweezers
- 4 cones of thread
If the serger has not been serviced recently or is not working properly, please bring it in ahead of time to be serviced and receive 10% off the repair/service cost*.
